Now Is Ours Poem

I look forward to the New Year
Without bloodshed, violence and fear

No remake of the constant hell
Of not letting our people prevail

Another year another war
Unless we come all and strong

Smart minds with one purpose
To bring our people to the surface

Now is Ours, Now is Ours
We are Leaders never the Followers

Now is Ours
Now is Ours

African Fable the falcon and the tortoise by 10 year old

The tortoise and the falcon

One day a falcon was hunting for small animals when a tortoise approached her.

I have been watching you soar in the sky at full speed and destroying anything that gets in your way.

Thank you Miss tortoise, I am pretty fast and can outsmart almost any animal in the sky and on the ground.

Well, what about the Hu-Man, the tortoise asked? It must be very hard for you to see them from way up in the sky.

The falcon, shrugged her feathers and replied, "I have never thought of that danger!"

I have a proposition proposed the tortoise to the falcon. You can fly ahead in the sky and warn me of upcoming danger while I warn you of any upcoming danger below.

The falcon didn't want the help of tortoise and declined the offer.
After numerous attempts, the tortoise finally persuaded the falcon to reconsider.

The next day, the falcon and the tortoise started their deal. The Falcon flew up ahead and scouted the sky for upcoming danger.

The tortoise was walking through the forest when she spotted hunters. She attempted to walk faster to warn the falcon but eventually turned over in her immediate rush.

As the falcon flew down to the forest ground to see the tortoise, she was shot by the hunters.

Morals of this fable

Only look up when you are up
Only have role models on your level and above
Do not fear what's below or behind you
Never go back when you are ahead

The Colored Girl Pencil Last Poem Of 2014 Retweet

I forgive you
Though you hated me

I welcomed you
you laugh
I screamed

"I will Forgive"
"I will teach"
what i've learned
to the deceitful & weak

God is my savior
God is my guide
For he has beckon me
To teach by his side

I cant breathe

I cant breathe
But i can feel
My words are gone
But long live my will

You took my breathe
You stole my life
My soul remained
On that tragic night

I cant breathe
But soon I will
Next to God
My lungs are filled

But i live on
In the air that the world breathe
Lingering among the people
Spreading the Hope Seed

Quote listening

A good woman listens to you
A great woman teaches you how to listen to yourself

Oh silly little brown girl

Oh, silly little brown girl

Don't you know, you were Born to teach and Bred to lead?

The world is waitin'
The people are hurtin

Oh, silly little brown girl

Keep a readin'
Keep a workin'

Keep a growin'
Keep a learnin'

Your people are callin'
Your world is callin'

Oh, silly little  brown girl

Wipe 'em tears
Salve your Wounds

Have you not heard?
There are thousands of your kind

Marchin' for Freedom
Demandin' their name

Takin' their seat
Among the righteous of all

OH, silly little brown girl

For you aren't silly no more
For the years has beckoned you into

A Wise Wise Woman

Oh what a Proud Someone am me

My pencil my soul

My Pencil my soul
Will grow with me
Until I am old
