African Fable the falcon and the tortoise by 10 year old

The tortoise and the falcon

One day a falcon was hunting for small animals when a tortoise approached her.

I have been watching you soar in the sky at full speed and destroying anything that gets in your way.

Thank you Miss tortoise, I am pretty fast and can outsmart almost any animal in the sky and on the ground.

Well, what about the Hu-Man, the tortoise asked? It must be very hard for you to see them from way up in the sky.

The falcon, shrugged her feathers and replied, "I have never thought of that danger!"

I have a proposition proposed the tortoise to the falcon. You can fly ahead in the sky and warn me of upcoming danger while I warn you of any upcoming danger below.

The falcon didn't want the help of tortoise and declined the offer.
After numerous attempts, the tortoise finally persuaded the falcon to reconsider.

The next day, the falcon and the tortoise started their deal. The Falcon flew up ahead and scouted the sky for upcoming danger.

The tortoise was walking through the forest when she spotted hunters. She attempted to walk faster to warn the falcon but eventually turned over in her immediate rush.

As the falcon flew down to the forest ground to see the tortoise, she was shot by the hunters.

Morals of this fable

Only look up when you are up
Only have role models on your level and above
Do not fear what's below or behind you
Never go back when you are ahead
